The 2021 MXGP World Championship is done and dusted. It was a long but good year for the Gebben van Venrooy Yahama Racing crew. The team is already preparing for the 2022 season, which kicks off early in Britain's Matterley Basin. They have the privilege to host the first round of the MXGP 2022 World Championship on the 19th and 20th of February. The team recently presented a strong line-up. Putoline Oil is again the exclusive lubricant partner of the team and will provide the team with technical support. It promises to be an exciting season in motocross.
Besides Calvin Vlaanderen, who's entering his third season with the team, Arminas Jasikonis makes his appearance. The Lithuanian talent is, after an intensive rehabilitation program due to his horror crash in 2020, fully back in the MXGP paddock.
